Safety

NAD+ given by infusion or injection commonly causes flushing, nausea, headache, and injection-site discomfort, and rapid infusions can cause chest tightness, cramping, or lightheadedness, which is why dosing rate matters. People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have significant heart, liver, or kidney conditions should review those with the prescribing provider before use. Long-term safety data for repeated NAD+ therapy is limited, so the risks of ongoing use are not fully established. Contact your provider promptly about chest tightness, severe flushing, or persistent nausea during or after a dose.

Quick answers
What if I’m not prescribed?
You’re refunded everything except a $30 provider visit fee, which covers the licensed provider’s review of your health information. A provider decides whether a treatment is right for you; a prescription is never guaranteed.
Who is my provider?
A physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant from an independent, physician-led medical group licensed in your state. They make every medical decision. The groups are listed on our Standards page.
Can I message my provider?
Yes. Message your provider in your patient portal. It isn’t for emergencies: if it’s urgent, call 911.
What does compounded mean?
Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for one patient, are not FDA approved, and are not interchangeable with a brand-name drug.
How do refills work?
Request a refill from your patient portal. Your provider decides whether a follow-up visit is needed.
